The demands of users and consumers of information online are such that there is no longer a hierarchy of needs for a website. It’s not like UX is more important than content or aesthetic is more important than navigation. We are at a time when all things are equally important. Users demand that websites be modern, look great across devices, be informative, easy to use, load fast, provide interactivity, and help them solve both the problems they know about and the ones they don’t.
This is a heavy task for an organization, especially a small organization. However, know that it is possible (for less time and money than you think) to meet all user expectations.
